Theory of disorder and quasiparticle interference in high-temperature superconductors

Low Dimensional Hybrid Organic Inorganic Semiconductors is a set of compounds that has lately caught the attention
of the scientific community, partially due to the usage of a subset of those in photovoltaic cells, namely perovskites ;
these yield high quantum efficiency devices, while allowing for simple synthesis at low cost.

In this presentation, an introduction will be given to the general set of low dimensional organic inorganic semiconductors,
discussing their structure, synthesis methods as well as their optical and electronic properties. Moreover, some novel
applications will be presented where these are integrated as light emitting devices and composites where superradiance-like luminescence
is observed.
